About The Position

The Human Resources (HR) Systems Analyst provides system support, upgrade, optimization, and subject matter expertise for all HR technologies and databases. Provides reporting and analytics services to ensure accurate and timely access to HR data by other members of the HR team, leadership and business stakeholders across the UNS Energy enterprise (e.g., developing and supplying reports, tracking metrics, creating dashboards, providing advanced HR data analytics services, etc.) Responsible for the HR budgeting process. Plays a critical role in reimagining the use of the HR information system (HRIS) at UNS, assessment of technology options, and design and deployment of new HR technology.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in a Human Resources, Finance or Performance Analyst position. Utility experience preferred. Knowledge or exposure to a SaaS.
  • Proficiency in HR systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Taleo and ELM. Experience with HRIS modules covering payroll, expense and security is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with application testing and system troubleshooting
  • Level I minimum qualifications

  • Experience with design, process documentation and functional system support on a HCM system.
  • Knowledge or exposure to a SaaS (Workday, ServiceNow, etc)
  • Proficiency with use of personal computer applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HR Systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Taleo and ELM.
  • Demonstrated experience with application testing and system troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and in writing along and conduct productive meetings.

  • Level II minimum qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources, Finance, or Performance Analyst position. Utility experience preferred.
  • Experience with design, support and administration on a HCM and SaaS with a focus on two or more HR Supported modules (HR, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent Management, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, etc).
  • Proficiency with use of personal computer applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HR Systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Taleo and ELM
  • Demonstrate independent analytical and innovative skills to proactively solution situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written and proficiency in conducting productive meetings.
  • Demonstrated Project management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, with emphasis on accuracy and attention to details.
  • Senior minimum qualifications
  • Demonstrate superior analytical and innovation skills.
  • Experience with design, plan execution, and administration on a SaaS with a focus on configuration, support, and administration cross-functionally throughout HR
  • 5-7 years of experience in a Human Resources, Finance, or Performance Analyst position. Utility experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management time management with demonstrated ability to multi-task priorities and deliver assignments on schedule.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, the ability to create original concepts & theories for a variety of projects.
  • Lead minimum qualifications
  • Ability to manage complex projects and designs and assist others with their project work.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a Human Resources, Finance, or Performance Analyst position. Utility experience preferred.
  • Experience leading, executing, supporting a SaaS (Workday, ServiceNow, etc) cross-functionally through HR and the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership skill and ability.

Nice To Haves

  • Utility experience preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS modules covering payroll, expense and security is highly preferred.
  • Associate's degree in personnel management, human resources industrial/labor relations, business administration (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in personnel management, human resources industrial/labor relations, business administration (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advance degree recommended but not required.
  • Understand principles of systems analysis and design to effectively analyze human capital management needs.
