About The Position

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for organizing and coordinating a variety of administrative and clerical tasks for the Program or designated department to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This role involves providing administrative support to Program managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, coordinating general administrative activities, preparing reports, and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The Administrative Assistant will also screen calls, respond to and route routine inquiries, schedule and coordinate meetings, referrals, and other group activities, and maintain calendars. Strategic Interventions, LLC is a leading behavioral health provider in North Carolina, serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness across eight offices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to multi-task in a business environment.
  • Demonstrated willingness to take on varied responsibilities and work as part of a team to ensure the overall success of the Program.
  • Documented knowledge and excellent computer and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to maintain and protect client confidentiality and privacy is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
  • Previous Administrative Support experience in a health care setting is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings, referrals, other group activities, and maintaining calendars accordingly.
