Hardware Subsystems Engineer - (Associate or Experienced) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense Space & Security is seeking a Hardware Subsystems Engineer to support the Satellite Capabilities organization and multiple satellite product lines based in El Segundo, CA . This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the El Segundo, CA, location. This worksite participates in Boeing’s optional 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 1+ Years of experience with Electrical Engineering
• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
• An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
• This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
• To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
• “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

• Experienced, Level 3 : 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ Years of experience with Electrical Engineering
• Experience in RF hardware design
• Experience in Digital circuit design
• System engineering experience
• Master of Science in Engineering
• Prior Aerospace experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements.
• Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements.
• Assists in monitoring suppliers' performance to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies.
• Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs.
