About The Position

As a member of the server platform and AWS hardware components design team, will
work with an interdisciplinary group to execute product designs from concept to
production. This includes design, development, validation, and successful
large-scale implementation. Contribute new technologies to improve the
performance, quality, and cost of our world-class server deployments, delivering
an exceptional customer experience. Responsible to dive deep into critical
design issues, taking ownership to resolve complex problems through root cause
analysis. Collaborating cross-functionally across the company and external
design partner, participate in design reviews and address all aspects of
technology readiness, including manufacturability. To enable efficient delivery
of new technologies to AWS products, help build robust methodologies and
processes. As a member of the AWS Hardware team, work with other subject matter
experts in compute, memory, storage technologies to develop and deliver the best
customer experience in cloud computing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in EE, CE or CSE, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• Must have three years of experience in the following skills: (1) designing complex server, storage or network systems, this includes developing functional specifications, design verification plans, functional test procedures and operational repair plans; (2) debug and root cause analysis of PCIe, memory, storage subsystems or networking components; and (3) developing monitoring and alerting systems to quickly identify and categorize failures in production environments.
