Handyman / Facilities Maintenance
About The Position
We're looking for a Handyman / Facilities Repair and Maintenance to assist with projects in our restuarants. This person will be responsible for doing repairs and maintenance projects for the restaurants within our group. Those tasks will be assigned on an as-needed, prioritized basis by one of our Directors. The projects might include basic plumbing repair, painting, drywall repair, minor electrical work, assisting with patio cleaning, and other similar tasks. Some familiarity with HVAC a plus. Our restaurants are in the downtown and East Liberty neighborhoods and include Meat & Potatoes, Gi-jin, Golden Gai, Tako, Tako Torta, Butcher and the Rye, Sally Ann's, Coop de Ville, Poulet Bleu, and Fish nor Fowl.
Requirements
- Demonstrated previous experience with similar tasks
- Own transportation is required
- Responsible and reliable individual comfortable with proactive and self-directed work
Nice To Haves
- Some familiarity with HVAC a plus
