Gunstock Finisher (Night Shift)
About The Position
The Gunstock Finisher is responsible for various stages of gunstock finishing, including deflashing, deburring, sanding, bead blasting, and applying filler material. The role also involves drilling, tapping, and labeling stocks for shipping. Key duties include maintaining a clean work environment, performing preventative maintenance on equipment, and collaborating with other departments to prioritize tasks. The position requires adherence to all work procedures, safety regulations, and company policies. Candidates should possess basic computer skills, be able to read and speak English, and demonstrate a willingness to learn, dependability, a positive attitude, and the ability to follow instructions. The work environment involves exposure to hot and cold conditions, various resins, composite materials, chemicals, and solvents.

Responsibilities
- Deflash, deburr and sand gunstock
- Bead blast
- Clean and change media in bead blast station
- Mix and apply filler material
- Drill and tap
- Label stocks for shipping
- Sweep and Mop floors as required
- Labor in/out and close material to stock using data collect
- Maintain 5S standards
- Perform necessary preventative maintenance on equipment
- Work closely with other departments to determine priorities
- Follow all work procedures for the area
- Comply with all safety and company policies
