About The Position

The Guest Services Worker supports the daily operations of Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort by providing exceptional customer service across multiple areas, including pool check‑ins, retail operations, and front desk hospitality. This role is highly guest‑facing and helps ensure smooth, efficient, and welcoming experiences for all visitors. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail‑oriented, and able to adapt to a variety of tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm during high‑volume periods
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Check guests in and out for pool access and provide wristbands, towels, and session information
  • Greet guests warmly and deliver exceptional customer service throughout their visit
  • Operate the front desk, including lodging check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, and answering guest inquiries
  • Handle retail sales in the gift shop, including running the register, restocking, and maintaining product displays
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk, retail area, and pool check‑in stations
  • Process payments accurately for retail, lodging, and pool services
  • Communicate pool policies, schedules, and safety guidelines to guests
  • Assist with lost and found items according to resort procedures
  • Coordinate with lifeguards, housekeeping, and other departments to support smooth operations
  • Resolve guest concerns or escalate issues to supervisors or management as needed
  • Monitor inventory levels for retail and pool supplies and notify supervisors when restocking is needed
  • Uphold Aramark and National Park Service standards for guest service, safety, and professionalism
