Facilitates front-line operations at the Winona Pool by greeting guests and performing quality customer service to guests and assisting them as needed. Must be available to work some evenings, weekend and holiday hours. The salary range for this position is $15.16 - $18.57 , depending on qualifications and experience. Must be available to work early mornings, some evenings, weekend, and holiday hours. This opportunity will remain open until filled. Essential Functions: Enhances Winona image and ensures a quality visit to Winona guests. Greets and admits guests, collects fees, and communicates effectively and professionally with guests and staff at all times concerning day to day operations and information sharing. Conducts self in a manner consistent with City of Loveland core values and organizational expectations. Prepares shift deposits and cash drawer at beginning/end of shift following established guidelines. Provides general facility use instructions, enforces facility policies/rules by informing guests of existing policies. Notifies supervisory personnel when issues arise. Assists with maintenance of various records and oversees lost and found items through documentation. Responsible for general upkeep and security of the bath house by cleaning, maintaining and stocking supplies daily. Reports mechanical malfunctions to supervisory personnel. Assists guests with special needs to improve quality of their visit. Resolves administrative concerns by applying appropriate policies and procedures through positive interaction and involvement with Facility Management Team and public. Other Job Functions: May be required to cross-train in other areas. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum age of 14 required at time of hire. Experience in cash handling, cash register operations and customer relations in a fast-paced environment preferred. Prior janitorial experience in a public facility preferred. Certifications: Current First Aid and CPR certifications preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must communicate effectively and professionally with staff and guests at all times concerning day to day operations and information sharing. Must follow written and verbal direction. Complete fee transactions quickly and accurately, prepare daily cash reports using math principles. Learn and operate cash register system. Perform job duties during peak periods of time when customer service activity is fast paced and intense and during relaxed periods. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Frequent light to moderate physical effort that includes frequent standing or walking or maintaining arms and hands in the same position for repetitive tasks. Frequently works with light objects and light hand tools. Frequent exposure to heat and noise along with working outside in the elements. Occasional e xposure to hazards that are predictable or well protected against.
