About The Position

Position works directly with Zoo Staff to ensure daily operating of admissions and gift shop runs smoothly. The work atmosphere is comfortable, relaxed and unpredictable.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions regarding Roosevelt Park Zoo
• Answer phones and direct traffic on weekends.
• Take daily ticket sales, stroller/wagon rental, and sell membership passes for MZC
• Operate and balance cash register
• Cleaning and maintaining strollers, admissions counter, Visitor Center entry and bathrooms
• Stocking and organization of gift shop area
• Track daily traffic and create accurate attendance records.
• Provide assistance in other areas of the Zoo as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
