All camps share a common purpose: creating an environment where Young Life staff bring Christ to life by creatively presenting the complete gospel of Jesus Christ. Speaking clearly from the Scriptures, camp speakers introduce kids to the person of Christ, the nature of humanity, the work of Christ on the cross, the hope of the resurrection and the opportunity for reconciliation with God. Young Life requires all employees to sign a Statement of Faith. We recommend you read this statement before applying for any position. About Rockbridge Located 25 minutes outside of Lexington, Virginia, Young Life’s Rockbridge is a property focused on hospitality, service, and glorifying God’s creation. Lexington is a growing small town with two private universities, a charming downtown, and short drives to larger cities like Charlottesville and Roanoke. Rockbridge offers a strong community both on and off camp, with the opportunity for a healthy work/life balance. As a staff, we strive to carry out our callings in a way that emphasizes teamwork and growing in intimacy with Christ. Notes: Young Life is a relational ministry. Young Life camps facilitate leader-centered ministry in the lives of kids and provide extraordinary environments where kids can encounter Jesus and grow in their faith. The entire Young Life camping experience is a strategy for supporting the mission ,vision, values and methods of ministry that we uphold.
