About The Position

The Compass Hotel by Margaritaville, Beaufort, a new addition to the Shaner Hotels portfolio, is hiring Guest Room Attendants. Shaner Hotels is an award-winning hospitality owner-operator and management company with a portfolio of over 65 properties across 14 states and four countries. The Compass Hotel, slated for an early 2026 opening in Beaufort, North Carolina, aims to offer a blend of laid-back luxury and coastal charm, focusing on meaningful experiences and easy-going elegance. This role is crucial for maintaining the hotel's established standards of cleanliness and quality in guest rooms.

Requirements

Minimum one year cleaning experience
Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
Knowledge of proper chemical handling.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
Other duties as assigned.
Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
