About The Position
Join our professional housekeeping team as a Guest Room Attendant responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.Ensure security and proper handling of guest belongings and room itemsPerform comprehensive room cleaning duties, including:Making beds according to hotel standards with fresh linensReplacing used towels with clean onesThoroughly dusting all surfacesVacuuming carpeted areasSanitizing and cleaning bathrooms to meet quality standardsMaintain adequate stock of guest amenities and room suppliesManage and organize cleaning supply cart inventoryDocument and update room status in the property management systemReport maintenance issues through appropriate channelsRespond promptly and professionally to guest requestsExecute additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods during shift
- Ability to maneuver cleaning cart and equipment (up to 200 pounds)
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including kneeling, reaching, stooping, bending, scrubbing, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage
- Must maintain all required certifications and licenses
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently
- Professional demeanor and appearance
Responsibilities
