About The Position

Mission: Build the AI-driven systems and workflows that power Drivepoint's revenue engine, transforming how we identify, engage, and convert our ideal customers at scale. The Role As our GTM Engineer, you'll architect and operate the intelligent systems that drive our go-to-market motion. You're the technical force multiplier who transforms our revenue team's potential through automation, AI workflows, and data-driven targeting. You're a builder who leverages Clay, Claude Code, custom agents, and modern AI tools to create sophisticated workflows that identify buying signals, enrich prospect data, and orchestrate personalized campaigns at scale. You'll spend your time engineering solutions that make our relatively small team perform like one 10x its size. You’ll partner closely with marketing and sales to translate strategic vision into high-performing, measurable systems. Your systems will feed our sales team with highly qualified, intent-driven leads who are already educated and engaged before a rep ever reaches out. Your success will be measured in system efficiency, lead quality improvements, pipeline velocity, and the sophistication of workflows that would be impossible to execute manually. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and partners closely with Sales leadership. What Success Looks Like Within 12 months, you'll have built a sophisticated engine that dramatically improves both the quantity and quality of opportunities flowing to Sales. Our team will operate with unprecedented efficiency, reaching fewer prospects but with dramatically higher conversion rates. Marketing campaigns will execute with precision, triggered by the right signals and personalized at scale. Your impact will be evident in: Lead quality scores and sales acceptance rates Time saved through automation (measured in hours per week) Coverage of ICP accounts with intelligent tracking and engagement Sophistication and performance of automated workflows Speed of implementing new campaigns and programs Data accuracy and enrichment coverage Attribution clarity and reporting reliability

Requirements

  • AI-native in approach: You leverage generative AI as a core tool, not a novelty. You've built custom agents, created AI-powered content personalization, and understand how to apply machine learning to marketing and sales challenges.
  • Experienced in B2B systems: You bring 5+ years working in marketing operations, revenue operations, or GTM engineering roles at B2B SaaS companies. You understand the buyer's journey and what separates qualified opportunities from noise.
  • Technically sophisticated, especially in outbound: You're fluent in tools like Clay and Smartlead, and have built complex workflows that combine data enrichment, AI personalization, and multi-step automation. You understand APIs, data structures, email deliverability and how to connect disparate systems.
  • Data-driven and analytical: You make decisions based on performance data. You build dashboards, identify trends, and optimize through rigorous testing. You're comfortable with SQL, data analysis tools, and statistical thinking.
  • System thinker: You see the connections between different tools, processes, and teams. You design solutions that account for downstream impacts and create leverage across the organization.
  • HubSpot expert: You know HubSpot's capabilities deeply—workflows, smart lists, APIs, custom objects, and integration possibilities. You've pushed the platform beyond basic use cases.
  • Pragmatic builder: You balance ideal solutions with practical constraints. You ship functional systems quickly, then iterate based on real usage. You don't let perfect be the enemy of good.
  • Proactive problem solver: You identify opportunities for improvement without being asked. You see inefficiencies and build solutions. You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks.
  • Clear communicator: You translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. You document your work. You can train others on the systems you build.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: You thrive in a startup environment where requirements evolve and priorities shift. You make smart decisions with incomplete information.

Responsibilities

  • Architect AI-driven workflows: Build custom agents, skills, and automated workflows that transform raw data into actionable intelligence. Create systems that identify ideal customers, detect buying signals, and orchestrate multi-touch engagement sequences without manual intervention.
  • Maintain and evolve ICP models: Develop sophisticated scoring models that identify our best-fit accounts and contacts. Continuously refine these models based on conversion data, product usage patterns, and market feedback to improve targeting precision.
  • Build intelligent outbound systems: Design and implement automated outbound campaigns triggered by behavioral signals, intent data, and engagement patterns. Create personalization at scale that feels genuinely relevant, not template-driven.
  • Own the martech stack: Manage and optimize our current stack (including HubSpot, Clay, Smartlead) while continuously evaluating and implementing new tools that unlock capability or efficiency gains. Be the expert who knows what's possible and what's emerging.
  • Ensure database health and segmentation: Establish data governance standards and implement automated database enrichment processes. Build segmentation logic that enables precise targeting across all our go-to-market motions.
  • Integrate signal and intent data: Connect multiple data sources to create a comprehensive view of account engagement and buying intent. Build the infrastructure that surfaces these signals to marketing and sales at the right moments.
  • Engineer lead scoring and qualification: Design multi-dimensional scoring models that account for firmographic fit, behavioral engagement, and buying signals. Ensure only qualified opportunities consume sales capacity.
  • Build attribution and analytics infrastructure: Create comprehensive tracking and reporting systems that provide transparency into campaign performance, channel effectiveness, and ROI. Surface insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Enable cross-functional teams: Translate complex technical capabilities into practical applications that marketing and sales can leverage. Train team members on new systems and ensure adoption of the tools you build.

Benefits

  • Technical freedom: Build sophisticated systems using cutting-edge tools with minimal bureaucracy
  • Material impact: Your work directly influences our ability to scale revenue efficiently
  • AI at the core: Work with a team that treats AI as fundamental infrastructure, not a side project
  • Ownership and autonomy: Direct control over the technical architecture of our go-to-market motion
  • Learning environment: Stay at the forefront of GTM technology with resources to experiment
  • Compelling market: Enable innovative consumer brands transforming their industries
  • Strong team culture: Collaborative environment that values data, innovation, and results
  • Boston-based: Hybrid flexibility with office presence in a vibrant startup ecosystem
  • Competitive compensation: Attractive salary, full benefits, and meaningful equity stake.
