About The Position

TRSS is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Growth P&A Intern to support our Partnership & Alliance team. In this role, you will help accelerate pipeline and program growth by bringing forward partnership opportunities, supporting go-to-market efforts, and developing clear, compelling materials that enable internal and external stakeholders to act. You will collaborate closely with Growth, marketing and communications, and business stakeholders while gaining hands-on experience in partnership development, growth strategy, and stakeholder communications in a mission-driven organization. As a Growth P&A Intern , you will: Contribute to special projects that strengthen TRSS’s growth engine (partner landscape mapping, value proposition refinement, and outreach experimentation).

Requirements

  • Ability to work in our McLean, VA office on a hybrid schedule.
  • Current rising junior or senior in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program, majoring in marketing, communications, business, or a similar field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with business development and growth tools to accelerate sales and revenue for the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • An understanding of corporate communications and public relations principles.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about both growth and partnership communications.
  • U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
