We’ve completed 10’s of thousands of trips so far and are busy multiplying our Las Vegas fleet just to meet demand! ...And soon we’ll be expanding across the US & Europe 🚀 Why this role is exciting As a Growth Marketing Manager at Vay, you aren’t just managing a budget; you are building the high-velocity engine that will bring teledriving to the masses. You will operate at the frontier of mobility, turning a complex technical breakthrough into a repeatable, scalable, and profitable user acquisition machine. You will sit at the controls of a sophisticated growth stack, tasked with cracking the code on how to move a user from "curious observer" to "power user" across global markets. If the idea of optimizing a "magic" moment—where a car arrives driverless at a customer's curb—sounds like the ultimate conversion challenge, this is your playground.

Requirements

  • The Growth Mindset: 6+ years of experience in Growth or Performance Marketing within high-growth marketplaces, mobility, or consumer tech.
  • Data-Obsessed: You live in the dashboards. You are proficient with the modern growth stack (Amplitude, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, or Braze) and can write the queries needed to find the "signal" in the "noise."
  • The Experimenter’s Toolkit: Proven track record of running rigorous A/B and multivariate tests. You know how to design an experiment, measure the results with statistical significance, and—most importantly—fail fast and learn.
  • Performance Marketing Fluency: You have a deep understanding of paid social, SEM, and programmatic, but you also know when to lean into organic growth and community-driven loops.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Expert: You can look at a user journey and immediately spot the "friction points." You have a "product-first" approach to solving marketing problems.
  • Agile & Scrappy: You thrive in the "build-measure-learn" cycle. You are comfortable balancing high-level channel strategy with the hands-on execution of setting up campaigns and tweaking copy.
  • Collaborative Operator: You can translate "growth speak" into "product speak," working seamlessly with designers and engineers to implement tracking and UI changes.

Responsibilities

  • The Experimentation Engine (Full-Funnel Optimization) From the first ad impression to the 1st ride, you are constantly testing hypotheses to reduce friction. You’ll dive into the data to identify why users drop off before their first ride and engineer "aha" moments through rapid A/B testing of landing pages, onboarding flows, and referral loops. Your goal is to find the levers that drive exponential, not incremental, growth.
  • Growth-Led Product Evolution You are the primary advocate for features that drive distribution. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to build "viral loops" directly into the app experience. Whether it’s optimizing the referral mechanics or creating "shareable" teledriving milestones, you ensure that the product is designed to market itself. You don't just market the product; you help build the parts of the product that grow the business.
  • LTV & Retention Mastery Acquisition is only half the battle. You will be the architect of our lifecycle marketing strategy, using CRM, push notifications, and incentive structures to turn one-time triers into lifelong advocates. You’ll obsess over Cohort Analysis and Lifetime Value (LTV), ensuring our Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) remains sustainable as we scale into new, high-density urban environments.
