About The Position

The Duckhorn Portfolio is North America’s premier luxury wine company, established in 1976 by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn. Our portfolio features some of North America’s most revered wineries, including Duckhorn, Decoy, Goldeneye, Calera, Kosta Browne and Sonoma-Cutrer. The Grower Relations Harvest Interns support our grower relations team in Napa and Lake Counties. The interns will help with grape maturity sampling and processing, crop estimation, field scouting, data collection and entry during the 2026 harvest season. The estimated timeframe for this seasonal role is July - October 2026.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and self-starter.
  • Comfortable working independently and early mornings.
  • Computer skills including Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Ability to enter data into a phone app, read maps and directions.
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive and work in various temperatures and environments, including sloped and uneven ground.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with sampling a plus.
  • Viticulture or Plant Science knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Grape maturity sample collection and processing.
  • Vineyard scouting for pests & diseases, vine health and phenology.
  • Crop estimation and vineyard data collection and entry, including cluster counts & weights.
  • Harvest logistical support as needed.
