Your role as a VP Group Supervisor: As a VP, Group Supervisor, you should command a leadership position across multiple business portfolios while mentoring and growing junior team members. Your job will require you to be accountable for media service that exceeds the expectations of multiple brands through the ongoing, flawless execution and delivery of brand deliverables and strategic services across HCP and DTP.

  • Reviews and approves all media briefs and ensures strategies are on target
  • Proactively adjusts in-progress media programs to ensure strongest plan possible
  • Works directly with the analytics and operations teams to assess program performance and to identify new and/or optimization opportunities, as well as helps to develop ways to communicate key insights to fit the needs of the client
  • Oversees the development of strategic documents (including brand plans) and POVs to ensure accuracy and to continue keeping ahead of industry trends
  • Maintains a constant pulse on new and emerging trends in order to be viewed as a saavy strategic partner
  • Is saavy in SEM, programmatic and social media trends, benefits and challenges and can speak with authority on each topic
  • Ensures the full team is consistently delivering best-in-class deliverables and distinguishable client service
  • Ensures that there is never a gap in service for any client/brand, even if it means rolling your sleeves up
  • Be accountable for delivery of multiple large-sized, high-value client projects
  • Accountable for the clients’ total budget by having proactive, ongoing conversations with leads
  • Proactively and immediately flags any scope/budget concerns to client before hours are incurred
  • Works with finance team/Senior Leadership to establish forecasts and ensures that financial goals are met/exceeded
  • Works with financial team/Senior Leadership to be responsible for the proper development and presentation of SOWs
  • Supports agency lead
  • Manages at least 1-2 mid-level media team members, while providing strategic mentorship to entire team
  • Being able to pivot and fine tune management skills based on the team member’s needs
  • Provides scheduled and ongoing feedback (both positive and constructive) to team members, ensuring their growth and positive improvement, coaches media team members to instill confidence
  • Holds all team members responsible for following process to achieve proper client service
  • Lead weekly team status meetings to disseminate key information and learnings and maintain a pulse on overarching business needs
  • Brings new ways to improve on status quo
  • Identifies resource gaps/weaknesses, and develops a plan to improve
  • Positive, upbeat attitude in all situations
