This is a unique opportunity to work with a client who is revolutionizing how individuals access and pay for desired healthcare services, moving beyond traditional pharma/biotech to influence a broader landscape of care. We are looking for a strategic powerhouse and a hands-on leader to serve as a trusted advisor and "right-hand" to our client in the healthcare finance space. This isn't your typical healthcare account; it's an exciting challenge for someone passionate about empowering individuals to access the healthcare they want, from dental to cosmetic surgery and specialty care like fertility and hearing. You will be an integral part of a multi-faceted account leadership team, instrumental in shaping public perception, driving brand awareness, and advocating for innovative solutions within a highly regulated and complex industry. Success in this role hinges on your exceptional ability to connect the dots across diverse client needs, internal workstreams, and external market dynamics to deliver cohesive and impactful strategies. This role offers the unique chance to not only lead external communications but also to influence internal disciplines within the client organization. This client is a true consumer advocate and a dedicated partner for small and mid-sized businesses, including individual providers and small group practices. Their mission is to be a vital part of the solution, helping people navigate and pay for the healthcare they desire that is not covered by insurance, all within their budget. You will regularly interact with the most senior client leadership, including the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, requiring you to be buttoned-up, confident, thoughtful, and an exceptional listener. Your counsel, materials, and results must consistently reflect the highest quality, and you will be a key contributor to our overarching account team's strategic leadership, sharing your unique perspectives to drive the client's business forward. For a healthcare PR professional, this account will force you to think outside the usual pharma/biotech box and is ideal for someone who prefers unique healthcare adjacent work.
