About The Position

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. Evolve Search into the best information agent by delivering state of the art Gen AI responses to our users across our core AI surfaces (AI Overviews and AI Mode). The AI Rich Experiences product team is defining the next generation Consumer AI Search experience. We are reimagining what the most helpful and actionable answer is throughout your interactions with Search, building and pushing frontier capabilities of our models. We are expanding Search to satisfy new journeys by being stateful, assistive, and collaborative. We are building out the AI interface needed for a Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Search experience. In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere. To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in launching products end-to-end.
  • Experience in Consumer AI.

Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for defining and driving new productivity cases in Search.
  • Ensure new productivity capabilities are discoverable and accessible in our AI products.
  • Define product investments we need to make to push Search to be the leading product to accomplish tasks.
  • Partner with engineers across Search to translate those bets into tangible deliverables
  • Drive top line growth for Search.
