About The Position

At Relativity, we build platforms that enable our customers to organize data, discover the truth, and act on it. We’re looking for a Group Product Manager to lead the strategy for our extensible platform, accelerating our AI-first focus, and empowers developers, partners, and customers to build tomorrow’s innovations. You’ll have a strong point of view and lead with conviction, data, and through robust collaboration. The position reports to the Director of Product Management for Engineering Systems and Automation Enablement. This role sits at the intersection of platform, AI, and ecosystem and you’ll define how Relativity becomes an AI-first, extensible platform that others rely on to build their businesses. If you want to shape the future of developer-driven innovation at scale, we’d love to talk!

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software product management with 3+ years in working with Developer Ecosystems and Platforms.
  • Proven track record of quantifiable, measurable impact with improving developer experience
  • Familiarity and comfort with data, including ability to use data to analyze and monitor product health, set goals, back up assumptions, and track success.
  • Strong tactical execution with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Championing, creating, and delivering value via incentive-based adoption strategies for features and platform capabilities
  • Detail-oriented without losing focus on strategy and big picture objectives
  • Excellent communicator and presenter, both written and verbal
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Design or comparable work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical background (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or equivalent)
  • Experience in large scale SaaS or enterprise software
  • Experience building or scaling developer ecosystems or platforms
  • Deep interest in how AI is reshaping developer productivity, extensibility and partner engagement
  • You’ve worked in environments where product, engineering and partner functions intersect and you’ve thrived

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the developer ecosystem strategy: Define the vision and roadmap for APIs, SDKs, extension points, and frameworks that let customers, partners, and internal teams build on Relativity.
  • Drive AI-first platform capabilities: Partner with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Partnerships teams to ship developer-facing AI capabilities (services, APIs, tooling) that make it easier to build intelligent applications on our platform.
  • Guide cloud-native and AI-first platform transformation: Steer Relativity toward a modern, cloud-native, and extensible architecture (microservices, containers/Kubernetes, eventing, high-scale APIs), and translate innovation into clear customer and partner value.
  • Set extensibility standards & governance: Define opinionated patterns, contracts, and best practices for extensibility (versioning, backward compatibility, security, performance) so developers can build with confidence on a stable, well-documented platform.
  • Be a cross-functional catalyst: Pull together product, engineering, partner, and go-to-market teams to align on priorities and move work on a shared vision for platform extensibility and fit-for-purpose AI innovation.
  • Translate complexity into outcomes: Turn technical concepts (e.g., a new SDK, AI service, or extensibility pattern like MCP Servers) into simple narratives tied to business outcomes like ecosystem growth, partner success, and customer value.
  • Evangelize and advocate for developers: Serve as a visible and vocal evangelist for our platform internally and externally. Champion the needs of external developers and partners to ensure their voice shapes our roadmap. Represent Relativity at events, in communities, and with key partners.
  • Drive internal platform & AI adoption: Work with other product teams to ensure they adopt shared platform capabilities and AI services instead of rebuilding them. Help teams understand the roadmap, onboard to new primitives, and identify reuse opportunities.
  • Lead developer and partner discovery: Spend meaningful time with external developers, partners, and customers to understand their jobs-to-be-done, pain points, and integration patterns to turn those insights into concrete roadmap decisions.
  • Lead with data and learning: Define and track key metrics for platform and ecosystem health (adoption, usage, satisfaction). Use data and feedback to prioritize, iterate, and improve
