As a Starbucks group manager, you will lead strategic consultation and support for our international business units (China, Japan, Asia Pacific, EMEA, Latin America & Caribbean) for the total Starbucks Menu & Product portfolio. Influencing, engaging and driving effective collaboration across functions, geographies and levels of leadership is key to success in this role. Requirements

  • 8+ years progressive experience in brand and/or product management including, direct experience commercializing and bringing new products to market
  • 4+ years experience managing others
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 or more years of US military experience or highly transferable skills accepted

Nice To Haves

  • Previous international marketing, product management or business experience preferred
  • Previous client service, agency or consulting experience preferred
  • Facilitation skills and training experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Identify key product priorities and opportunities to drive global connection and collaboration across our international business units (China, Japan, AP, EMEA & LAC)- across our entire product & menu portfolio including Coffee, Beverage, Food & Merchandise.
  • Develop standards and best practices for the development, launch, and optimization of Starbucks products and associated programs; balancing known global learning with flexibility to address local market relevance.
  • Effectively establish, strengthen and leverage foundational tools and communication frameworks (such as global landscape dashboards, reporting, tracking, knowledge sharing forums, communication channels and repositories) to ensure support efforts are well informed, socialized and utilized by all stakeholders.
  • Continuously identify new opportunities to deliver value for International business units- driving alignment, advocacy and buy-in needed with leaders and teams across orgs to implement.
  • Provide consultation to international business units in the form of guidance, support, feedback and advocacy when needed.
  • Drive regional input and alignment on key programs.
  • Lead and manage a team of 2-3

  • If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.
  • For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
