About The Position

ADDITIONAL VINELAND GROUP HOME OPENING IN MARCH! Group Home Team Leader - Full-Time (40 hours per week) - $41,820 per year For over 60 years, The Guidance Center has been a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care to individuals and families in Cumberland County, NJ. As a non-profit organization, our dedicated team of professionals, including doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, works to diagnose and treat all types of mental illness. As a Residential Team Leader, you will oversee an A+GRP Residential Group Home, ensuring the effective supervision of staff, scheduling, and compliance with DMHAS regulations. This role requires collecting and analyzing data for the program's Quality Improvement Plan, including outcome measures, resource utilization, engagement, and client satisfaction. You will be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans and clinical documentation while providing direct services to residents and supporting their integration into the community. Advocacy is a key component, as you will collaborate with treatment providers to develop recovery-focused interventions. Additionally, you will facilitate House Council meetings, coordinate programming, and be available for emergency situations, providing coverage at residences as needed. Demonstrates competency in delivering Motivational Interviewing (MI), effectively engaging individuals served through engagement, assessment, and intervention. A Background Check is required Clear Five year driving record/abstract with ability to be insured by organizations carrier.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health-related field required
  • One year of experience in a residential mental health setting required
  • Supervisory skills required
  • Possession of a valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean five-year driving record that meets organizational standards and qualifies for insurance coverage
  • A Background Check is required
  • Clear Five year driving record/abstract with ability to be insured by organizations carrier
