Group Leader Group Leader Part time Pay Range $19.09 - $19.09 per hour Company Overview Community Teamwork is a private non-profit organization located in Lowell MA. Position Summary The Assistant Group Leader will be responsible for providing before school and after school care for children in CTIs School Age Program. They will receive staffing assignments regarding daily curriculum, provide supervision to children in 1:13 ratio, and act as a coach to the youth enrolled. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Assist in implementing program policies and procedures including maintaining accurate attendance and other records, following Early Education and Care Regulations and USDA Guidelines. Responsible for working at all school age sites as assigned. Provide supervision and safety of children. Maintain a daily group list and attendance. Recognize the child enrolled as an individual, helping children to develop as a member of the group. Present respectful communication and maintain standards for behavior through a positive approach. Assist in creating the weekly curriculum. Assist with daily activities and follow the daily curriculum plans and schedule, cannot be left alone with children Maintain clean and organized workspaces that include setting up the daily spaces (i.e.: breaking down tables, rearranging the spaces and cleaning at the end of the day). Participate in case management of families involved. Share concerns about children and families with Site Coordinator. Maintain confidentiality of children and families. Broaden knowledge of the cultural and ethnic heritage of the children and families served. Uphold the values of CTI Equity, Integrity, Compassion. The duties listed above are representative of the work performed. Other related duties may be assigned. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a desire to work with youth and meet one of the following: Have a Bachelors or Associates Degree and 3 months experience working with school age children; or Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and have 6 months experience including 3 months supervised experience at a school age child care program; or Have nine months experience with school age children including three months supervised experience at a school age child care program. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Khmer English/Portuguese) Prior experience working with school-aged children. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age, have a desire to work with youth and meet one of the following:
