Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with a thorough understanding of financial processes.
  • Proficient in using large ERP systems, such as SAP, to streamline accounts payable operations.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, with experience in complex data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly adaptable, with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Solid data entry and administrative skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve issues and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately verify and approve payments, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved swiftly.
  • Process stock and non-stock invoices on time, using 3-way matching to ensure payment accuracy.
  • Handle high-volume manual invoices efficiently, maintaining a smooth workflow.
  • Manage expense reports for out-of-pocket, petty cash, and corporate card claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve EFT rejections, minimising disruptions to payment processing.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts by reviewing and verifying monthly statements.
  • Address and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and compliance improvements, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
