Groundskeeper (Long-Term Substitute)
About The Position
Responsibilities include: Performs a range of maintenance work in the preparation and preservation of MPS athletic fields and surrounding district property Marks and lines areas for practice and competitions; uses appropriate marking materials to delineate areas of play and comply with league rules oGrade and water infields and build mounts Aerates and irrigates field areas; operates and maintains irrigation systems to assure safe operation Assists in setting up equipment and facilities for special events Operates and maintains equipment such as mowers, edgers, pruners, blowers, forklifts, tractors, trucks, line marking machines as required Maintains lawns, plants, and trees by mowing, planting, raking, pruning, and watering as necessary Waters lawns and plants as necessary Performs additional maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities Director
