About The Position

Quail West is a leading private golf and country club that prides itself on providing world-class facilities for Members and their guests and an extraordinary and inclusive, yet unpretentious lifestyle. One of Southwest Florida’s most welcoming clubs, Quail West’s courses, facilities and services are shared by a limited number of members to enhance the quality of the member experience. The Grounds Operator 1 will exhibit proficiency in all tasks associated with the daily care and maintenance of a private upscale community and will perform all tasks as outlined for Grounds Operator 1.

Requirements

Exhibit professionalism and leadership qualities through own self-actions.
Must be compliant with and actively support a drug free workplace.
Comply with all rules and regulations as stated whether verbal or written.
Energetically support all training activities with this department to ensure consistency throughout grounds operation.
Perform all duties of Operator 1 with excellence.
Perform all duties in a safe operating manner while wearing all required safety equipment.
Minimum of a high school diploma preferred.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Exhibit proficiency in all tasks associated with the daily care and maintenance of a private upscale community.
Perform all tasks as outlined for Grounds Operator 1.
Have experience with or be able to use the following pieces of equipment: Push mower, Riding mower, Line trimmer, Stick edger, Blower, Hedge trimmer.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
