About The Position

Responsible for performing a variety of production jobs that are related to processing beef trim into hamburger and packaging it per market and customer requirements. Automated machines and power equipment is used in this department. Work environment is fast paced and physically demanding.

Requirements

• Must wear all PPE - Safety is a priority
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Must be able to Lift 70 pounds or more

Nice To Haves

• HS Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months experience in beef processing and/or grind facility a plus
• Experience operating industrial equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• May operate a variety of industrial equipment
• May clean up various work areas
• Must follow all food safety and personal safety procedures and requirements
• Must learn to keep up with assigned job tasks and help to minimize downtime
• May use forklifts or other transport equipment to move product
• Must keep work area clean and safe
• Must be able to work in cold environment
