About The Position

AFI is a fast growing vehicle upfitter providing a full suite of solutions to our commercial vehicle customers. Our Graphics Division is looking for a motivated Production Assistant to help provide excellent customer service by engaging in the different aspects of our production process below.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Must be trustworthy, detail-oriented and highly motivated
Strong written, verbal communication skills
Knowledge of some computer design software (Adobe suite)
Ability to see and understand color and graphics / CMYK vs. RGB / raster vs. vector
Strong organizational skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening

Nice To Haves

1+ years of designing/working with vehicle graphics and templates
Experience with large-format printers, laminators, plotters, and graphic and signage finishing

Responsibilities

Assists with day-to-day print production projects
Operate and maintain large-format printers, laminators, and plotters
Conducts quality control from start to finish of jobs
Inspect customer files, provide digital proofs, and make the graphics print-ready
Communicate closely with our production manager, design and install teams to assure jobs keep on print schedule
Some sign fabrication, vinyl application
Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions
Packing, labeling, and shipping completed jobs
Other duties as assigned (including inventory and procurement)
