Requirements

  • Approximately two (2) years of professional experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
  • Experience designing informational, technical, and/or promotional materials.
  • Proficiency in desktop publishing, page layout, and graphic design software.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex or technical information into visually effective materials.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field required;OR formal training in graphic design or related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and produce visual communications materials, including brochures, forms, labels, conference materials, presentation slides, posters, reports, and other informational products.
  • Develop graphics, logos, mastheads, charts, infographics, and illustrations to enhance written and technical content.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, visually engaging formats suitable for diverse audiences.
  • Apply advanced desktop publishing, page layout, and design software to create high-quality textual and graphic compositions.
  • Ensure visual products align with organizational branding standards and communication objectives.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts, program staff, and stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify design intent.
  • Develop and maintain systems for scheduling, tracking, and prioritizing graphics requests to ensure timely delivery of work products.
  • Review and revise materials based on stakeholder feedback while maintaining design integrity and consistency.
  • Prepare final production-ready files for print and digital distribution.
  • Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives requiring visual communications expertise.
