The Graphics Specialist conceptualizes, designs, and develops a wide range of visual and information materials to support technical, informational, and promotional initiatives. Requirements

Approximately two (2) years of professional experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
Experience designing informational, technical, and/or promotional materials.
Proficiency in desktop publishing, page layout, and graphic design software.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex or technical information into visually effective materials.
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Fine Arts, or a related field required;OR formal training in graphic design or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, design, and produce visual communications materials, including brochures, forms, labels, conference materials, presentation slides, posters, reports, and other informational products.
Develop graphics, logos, mastheads, charts, infographics, and illustrations to enhance written and technical content.
Translate complex technical information into clear, visually engaging formats suitable for diverse audiences.
Apply advanced desktop publishing, page layout, and design software to create high-quality textual and graphic compositions.
Ensure visual products align with organizational branding standards and communication objectives.
Coordinate with subject matter experts, program staff, and stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify design intent.
Develop and maintain systems for scheduling, tracking, and prioritizing graphics requests to ensure timely delivery of work products.
Review and revise materials based on stakeholder feedback while maintaining design integrity and consistency.
Prepare final production-ready files for print and digital distribution.
Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives requiring visual communications expertise.
