Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work an assigned eight hour schedule on the first, second, or third shift, if applicable.
  • Successful completion of a physical and job-related functional screening assessment.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry 66.5 lbs. and push/pull 85 lbs.
  • Must possess an understanding in the use and operation of a personal computer.
  • Must have one year of experience operating high speed duplication equipment in a retail copy or commercial printing environment or one year of experience in a mailing services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prints and distributes job tickets, inspects files for 4-color print production, sets up variable data print files, reprint files and other projects, and operates digital color envelope production printers.
  • Operates digital color printing presses with in-line stapling, drilling and three sided trimming capabilities, creates and maintains library of paper stock, and assists in maintaining inventory for pre-printed brochures and production papers.
  • Sends reprint files to production printing devices using a software application.
  • Operates monochrome digital printing devices with inline tape binding, booklet making, stapling and drilling capabilities.
  • Operates cutter, folding, automated cutter/slitter, corner rounding, drill press, coil punching, coil binding, tape binding, laminating, banding, stitching and tabbing equipment.
  • Pulls documents from preprinted inventory and packages for shipment.
  • Enters information into print management software.
  • Performs internal deliveries and external shipping.
  • Performs hand collating, inserting, project assembly, shop clean-up and other tasks as assigned.
