About The Position

What started as a better way for us to manage production and printing for clients has grown into an important leap forward for transforming how businesses communicate and work. The Print Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring digital print equipment to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality production of printed materials. This role supports daily production by executing print jobs according to job specifications, maintaining workflow, and ensuring output meets company quality standards. The Print Operator works in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment and plays a critical role in meeting production deadlines and customer expectations. Shift: Monday - Friday, 12:00AM - 8:30AM; May require weekend or extended hours based on production schedules and mailing deadlines. Shift is eligible for a $1.00 shift differential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • 1–3 years of experience in a print production or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience working with digital print equipment (laser, inkjet, or similar production machines) preferred
  • Ability to operate Printers (OCE, Canon, Konica, Ricoh)
  • Familiarity with print job specifications and production workflows
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and job tickets with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic computer skills (ability to navigate systems, job queues, and production tracking tools)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move materials (up to 20 lbs)
  • Ability to work around production equipment in a manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

  • Operate digital print equipment (e.g., cut sheet laser, cut sheet inkjet, roll-fed inkjet) to produce print jobs in accordance with job tickets and specifications
  • Ensure correct materials are used, including paper stock selection and proper job setup as directed
  • Monitor print jobs to ensure quality, alignment, and accuracy of output
  • Identify and escalate equipment issues, print defects, or workflow disruptions to appropriate teams (e.g., IT or Maintenance)
  • Maintain consistent production flow to meet daily output goals and deadlines
  • Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment as required
  • Follow all production schedules and prioritize work based on job requirements and deadlines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
  • Accurately complete production logs and required documentation
  • Other duties as assigned
