The Graphics Associate we are hiring will enjoy working in a fast paced environment as they assess artwork, create proofs for customer review, and prepare print files to production specifications. Along with strong computer skills (Adobe Suite, MS Office) you will also enjoy building customer relationships, possess a strong attention to detail and thrive on contributing to the company’s success. Work hours for this position are 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
  • Proven working knowledge of Photoshop, In Design, Excel and Word
  • Proven strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong ability to prioritize work

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics preferred
  • Preferred knowledge of Acumatica and MS Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Ability to learn and understand processes in order management system, ensuring information is accurate and standardized for the graphics order
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity and quality in the assessment and execution of proof and print file creation
  • Thorough understanding of early Graphics training levels: Direct to Film, Digital, and Dye Sublimation prints
  • Modify existing files to fit company templates in Adobe Illustrator, verifying the art is set up to Showdown Displays guidelines
  • Utilize basic color correction and manipulation to ensure proof is to the highest quality
  • Revise existing art files (client edits, resizes, type setting, image replacements)
  • Communicate with customers and internal departments via phone and email to update on status and resolve art discrepancies
  • Manage personal order queue; meeting or exceeding quality and productivity metrics
  • Required to have a competent knowledge of graphics, and a complete understanding of the company’s products within the trained value streams; including their features, benefits and specifications
  • Act as the point of contact for inter-company & customer calls/questions/issues related to the Graphics value stream
  • Meets attendance expectations as outlined in the employee handbook
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor
