About The Position

The Associate Development Program is a paid 12-month full-time (temporary) experience designed for early-career individuals or those beginning their professional careers. A bachelor’s degree, relevant certification, or a combination of related education and experience aligned with the responsibilities of the role are required. Relevant coursework, training, or equivalent experience is valued. The format allows for structured professional development and hands-on learning. As a Motion Graphics Associate, you will support our creative and production staff across a variety of motion graphics projects that drive engagement for fans and partners. You will help adapt and version content for different players, formats, and screen sizes to ensure consistency and alignment with the team’s visual identity. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator, is eager to learn in a fast-paced production environment and demonstrates strong attention to detail and organization. This position will be primarily based at the team’s headquarters in Lake Forest, IL, with occasional work at Soldier Field. Some evening and weekend availability is required to support game days and events with the ability for some remote work. 2026-27 Associate Development Program Dates: Monday, June 1, 2026 – Friday, May 21, 2027 Please Note: Applications must include a working link to an online portfolio to be considered. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production, Graphic Design, Photography, Film, or related field, relevant certification or a combination of related education and experience aligned with the responsibilities of the role are required.
  • Experience with relevant software applications, including but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite, various plug-ins for Adobe, Ross Xpression, studio control room, statistical interface (GSIS, Etc.), Cinema 4D or another comparable 3D rendering engine 
  • Proficient in current version of Adobe Creative Suite – specifically, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and execute detailed revisions based on feedback
  • Comfortable working in a Mac-based environment
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Work independently while open to creative direction 
  • Multi-task and prioritize multiple projects daily 
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming 
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office 
  • Passion for sports and storytelling through visual design
  • Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including weekends and evenings   
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time in varying weather conditions, climb up/downstairs, lift heavy objects
  • Reliable transportation is required for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in live event production and motion graphics preferred
  • Bonus: Familiarity with video editing, 3D software (Cinema 4D), or Ross Xpression
  • Bonus: Experience assisting in a control room or live event setting

Responsibilities

  • Assist in adapting and versioning existing motion graphics for various formats, players, and display dimensions
  • Support the creation and preparation of content for Soldier Field videoboards and digital signage
  • Work within existing templates and animation structures to deliver consistent, on-brand assets
  • Help with file organization, version control, and project exports to ensure deliverables are met on time
  • Participate in creative reviews and learn from senior designers and producers
  • Provide occasional support in the control room during live events and home games
  • Assist in preparing assets for use across social, web, and broadcast platforms
  • Help track and fulfill production and design requests from other departments
