About The Position

The Grants Coordinator, in partnership with the Grants Manager, is responsible for the application, compliance reporting, and drawdown of various grants that support the homeownership and home repair programs at Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity (GRHFH). This position will enable GRHFH to serve more families by increasing financial support for our programs and building positive relationships with our grantors.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Applications. Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, accuracy, high attention to detail, and thoroughness.
  • Highly organized
  • Strong research skills
  • Ability to operate efficiently and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Associates degree in human services or related field required. Bachelors highly preferred
  • 1+ years of grant experience strongly preferred

  • Non-profit experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Compiles necessary information for the application process through collaboration with other employees, database research, outreach to outside agencies, etc.
  • Drafts grant applications in accordance with grantor requirements
  • Completes documents, forms, and/or reports required by the funder in a thorough and timely manner as assigned by the Grants Manager
  • Coordinates the monitoring and evaluation of grant-funded programs and projects.
  • Prepares and submits drawdown requisitions for completed projects.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Support and participate in special event days
  • Help market and participate in annual fundraising events
  • Serve on several internal and community-based committees that relate to the performance of this position
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the CEO
