The Operations Bureau supports the budget and financial functions within the Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Division. Responsibilities of the Grants Contract Officer include monitoring contract end dates, working with program managers to write and process Acquisition Planning and Implementation Forms (API’s), contracts and contract amendments. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity Knowledge of principles and practices of accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Ability to understand state and federal rules and regulations related to fiscal and budgetary management. Knowledge of principles and practices of government procurement and contracting. Skill and understanding of budgets. Meet minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or related field. Two years of professional financial experience in budgeting, contract monitoring, grant or program management or other closely related experience.
