About The Position

Basic Purpose This position is assigned responsibilities for providing outreach and compliance support for the Land & Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) federal grant program and the OTRD Federal Programs grant team. This includes all areas of LWCF program compliance and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of GIS software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and multitasking ability
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn and become proficient in rules and regulations related to federal grant programs.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must possess a valid Drivers License.

Responsibilities

  • LWCF compliance and record keeping
  • Public Outreach to promote the grant programs
  • Coordinating with multiple Federal, State, and municipal agencies
  • 5-Year Park Inspections and reporting
  • LWCF Project site inspections
  • Working with grant sub-recipients
  • Coordinating with the grants team
