Under the direction and guidance of the Controller, the Grants Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial, accounting and grant support services in order to meet the needs of the organization and the donor(s). This position is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, providing financial reporting and analysis. This position is also responsible for the operations of post-award grant administration and related accounting duties. Working closely with the program directors and Director of Grants Development, the Grants Accountant will focus heavily on budgeting, compliance, reporting and variance analysis functions. All work is performed collaboratively with and in support of other services offered by St. Joseph's Villa. All work is performed within a systems-based framework and a psycho-educational model. Work is performed safely, effectively, to the highest ethical standards, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles for non-profit entities and in accordance with St. Joseph’s Villa’s mission, values, and guiding principles.
