The Grant Accountant is a strong team player passionate about United Way’s business, accounting, and planning processes, ensuring grant compliance for United Way and funded subcontractors on federal, state, city, and private grants. This includes managing grant reporting deadlines, preparing budgets, monitoring budget and spending status, and ensuring monitoring and financial reporting requirements are met. The role supports the development of effective systems for submitting and monitoring funding and reimbursement requests and works directly with grant program managers on grant-related issues. This position reports to the Finance Grants Manager and the Controller.
