About The Position

Grammar School Classroom Teacher - Kindergarten (Leave Replacement) Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School is seeking a leave replacement for Grammar School Kindergarten. The Kindergarten Head Teacher holds primary responsibility for the implementation and development of the CGPS curriculum and the success of its students. The Kindergarten Head Teacher is committed to continuously improving curriculum and instruction through collaboration as part of a grade level departmental team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of two years full-time teaching experience, preferably in Early Childhood
Valid State Certification is helpful but not required, preferably in Early Childhood
Proven record of high achievement in the classroom
Ability to communicate effectively and establish rapport with parents
Ability to work collaboratively and an interest in current best practices in instruction and assessment

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree preferred
Valid State Certification is helpful but not required, preferably in Early Childhood

Any duties as assigned by Divisional Director and/or Head of School.
