About The Position

DoubleLine is seeking a Graduate Intern to support the Global Sovereign Debt team for Summer 2026. As part of the Global Sovereign Debt team, the Intern will be responsible for supporting the investment team by conducting fundamental sovereign research and help in reporting. They will perform macroeconomic and credit analyses of sovereign countries and will update and maintain existing spreadsheets, models and reports.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled (at any level) in MBA or Master’s program.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with third-party data providers (e.g. Bloomberg).
  • Ability to prioritize time and tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, but able to work independently.
  • Strong sense of integrity and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior fixed income experience or CFA a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze international policy developments and assess the creditworthiness of sovereign governments globally, focusing on both developed markets and emerging markets countries.
  • Identify economic, political, and market risk factors that impact external and local bond and fx returns and communicate relevant analysis to portfolio managers.
  • Update and maintain existing fundamental reports, models and spreadsheets.
  • Produce month-end and quarter-end reports.
  • Participate in discussions with senior government officials, private sector representatives and rating agencies.
