Guided by our core principles of being student-focused, fostering collaborative innovation, empowering ownership, and embracing strategic efficiency, we strive to support our students both inside and outside the classroom. Our mission is to develop student leaders, foster involvement, and provide support for all Longhorns, ensuring that every decision and action prioritizes their well-being and development. Join us in fostering a community that values excellence, inclusivity, and the holistic development of our students. The UT Austin Office of the Dean of Students is seeking a Graduate Assistant to support student service programming efforts. The graduate assistant will work on the Volunteerism and Service-Learning team, primarily supporting events, recognition, and resources programming. The Graduate Assistant will also support the Longhorn Volunteer Network, an initiative which will institutionalize the use of GivePulse on the UT campus and help students more easily access volunteer opportunities and report service hours. While exact duties are adjusted to fit the selected candidate's strengths and experience, this person will be working in partnership with a full-time staff member and a team of student assistants to ensure the successful implementation of all aspects of programming.
