About The Position

The Graduate Assistant Non-Teaching in the Center for Instructional Innovation & Technology Services will assist the department with maintaining the computer labs. Also supporting Faculty/Staff and students on campus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
• Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semester).
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Organization.
• Verbal Communication.
• Multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors and/or students as need during their time in our computer labs and other labs as required.
• Manage Panther CIC facilities, i.e., audio studio, podcast studio, checkout room
• Manage and connect multiple Zoom sessions for class meetings and conferences.
• Work with undergraduate student workers day to day duties
• Configure A-V setup for auditorium and/or smart classrooms
