About The Position

Government Property Accountability Officer The Opportunity: Maintain and track compliant records of Government Property (GP) in AssetSmart. Ensure proper receipt, tagging, tracking, storage, use, and disposition of GP. Lead and support GP internal audits. Lead, support, and conduct periodic inventories, and report lost, damaged, or destroyed property. Support proposal reviews for GP clauses and requirements. Develop, conduct, and provide training and guidance to program managers regarding the proper use and handling of GP. Implement process improvement. Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required. Join us. The world can't wait.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with GP lifecycle requirements
  • Experience using AssetSmart, PIEE, or Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Experience with lifecycle planning
  • Knowledge of FAR 52.245-1, DFAR, and GP regulations, ensuring compliance and supporting system assessments
  • Ability to utilize analytics and metrics dashboarding
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • HS diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in GP management
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Government Property Certifications such as CPPA or CPPS Certification
