About The Position

This position serves as the Specialty Care provider liaison with the following duties and responsibilities: Serves as the liaison for contracted specialists and all matters concerning their agreement. Oversees all specialty care provider agreements. Creates and maintains relationships with specialty providers and practices, including identifying partnership opportunities and establishing points of contact. Conducts routine outreach to specialty providers. Maintains a listing of contracted specialists and keeps staff apprised of changes. Communicates any agreement related problems that may arise with supervisor. Arranges meetings and participates in various meetings for Specialty Care. Assists with purchasing duties to support the specialty care office. Routes agreements through the appropriate review process. Monitors agreements for extensions or renewal according to established procedure. Creates and manages purchase requisitions in My Florida Market Place. Submits CAPS and other access requests for specialty providers. Creates correspondence to Specialty Care providers. Establishes health exemptions for assigned agreements. Reviews and approves Specialty Care provider invoices. Tracks budget expenditures for Specialty Care provider agreements. Assists with duties to support specialty care related billing, including insurance verification and obtaining, faxing, scanning and/or importing medical records and supporting documents. Communicates and collaborates with management and staff internal and external to the agency

Requirements

  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with others.
  • Ability to type and/or in a keyboard control data input device, adding machine and utilize other office equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to meet and maintain minimum production requirements for speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.
  • Experience working in a customer service role.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs to include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Experience working collaboratively with medical providers or medical offices

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing contracts and/or purchase orders..
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • State of Florida certified contract manager
  • Experience working in a clinical setting with knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience educating the community about services and programs
