About The Position

This is a highly professional administrative position serving all counties within Circuits 3 and 8 (Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Suwannee, Taylor, Union). This position is responsible for providing independent and complex management, analysis and consultation focused on staff professional development and skills training impacting operational improvements within Regional Operations and Programs. This position supports the coordination and/or delivery of leadership training, employee engagement initiatives, and other enhancements of individual and agency core competencies to drive continuous performance improvement and enhance workforce capacity and capability.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
  • Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.
  • Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow and other activities relating to the improvement of management practices.
  • Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials.
  • Ability to conduct fact finding research.
  • Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • 1-3 years of similar experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • DCF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, facilitates and supports continual performance improvement activities for Family Safety related programs in the Northeast Region.
  • Ensures projects and related outputs are planned, managed and delivered in accordance with agreed work-plans and objectives, and supports Leadership goals.
  • Participates in the Northeast Region Leadership Team meetings, program meetings and ad hoc community meetings regularly to oversee functions of core and support services.
  • Coordinates critical information gathering, tracking, and evaluation of employee satisfaction and engagement through focus groups, surveys, workplace safety protocols, and other means to measure and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
  • Serves on interdisciplinary staff teams and committees to develop optimum resolutions to problems as identified. Assists in implementing and monitoring recommendations for appropriate modifications.
  • Monitors system for staffing referrals and triages for most appropriate level of service, i.e., Intergrated Practice Team (IPT), Local Review Team (LRT).
  • Coordinates, prepares for, and facilitates LRT staffings and assures follow-up on needs.
  • Participates in and/or completes case reviews as a result of client complaints or special requests from Executive Leadership.
  • Participates in the circuits’ disaster response activities including but not limited to: preparedness meetings, canvassing site activities, DSNAP site work.
  • Performs other duties and special assignments as required.
