About The Position

We are seeking a highly driven Product Manager with deep expertise in golf cart systems, lithium battery technology. This role will oversee product strategy, lifecycle management, and cross-functional coordination for all golf cart product lines. The ideal candidate understands the performance demands, customization trends, and technical requirements of modern electric golf carts and can translate market needs into innovative, reliable, and high-performance products.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or technical program management within the golf cart, EV, powersports, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of golf cart electrical systems, lithium battery integration, BMS functionality, and electric drive performance requirements.
  • Ability to analyze technical data, interpret performance metrics, and develop data-driven business cases.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Ownership
  • Manage the full product lifecycle—from concept and development to launch and end-of-life planning.
  • Identify market opportunities within the golf cart industry, analyze trends (fleet, consumer, lifted carts, performance upgrades), and recommend new product development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to define product positioning, features, and messaging specific to golf cart customers.
  • Apply deep knowledge of lithium battery systems, charging profiles, BMS integration, and voltage requirements specific to golf carts (36V, 48V, 72V systems).
  • Understand electric motor demands, controller compatibility, and performance modifications in golf cart applications.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking across golf cart batteries and accessory components.
  • Monitor industry trends in golf cart customization, aftermarket upgrades, and emerging technologies.
  • Partner with engineering to translate golf cart performance requirements into detailed product specifications.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality, safety, and production readiness for golf cart applications.
  • Support sales teams with technical expertise for fleet customers, dealerships, distributors, and direct-to-consumer channels.
  • Provide internal product training focused on golf cart system compatibility and installation considerations.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy for golf cart products, including feature prioritization, pricing analysis, launch planning, and documentation.
  • Gather post-launch feedback from dealers, fleet operators, and end users to refine product performance and reliability.
  • Monitor warranty trends and field performance to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support marketing with technical insights for product guides, sales collateral, and customer education materials tailored to golf cart buyers.
