About The Position

Pro Shop Supervisor Step into an exciting leadership role at the legendary Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection, on Alabama’s stunning Gulf Coast. As a Pro Shop Supervisor , you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our Golf Pro Shop, ensuring a seamless guest experience while driving retail performance and team success. You’ll lead merchandising strategies, guide team members, manage inventory and finances, and play a key role in maintaining our high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Retail Leadership: Plan and execute sales promotions, coordinate visually appealing merchandise displays, and develop compelling advertising to maximize shop revenue.
  • Team Supervision: Guide, coach, and support Pro Shop staff and assist with supervision of Outside Service Attendants and Starter/Marshalls, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Service: Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, provide expert assistance with purchases or inquiries, and address complaints promptly to uphold exceptional service standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, track sales trends, and manage timely reorders to ensure merchandise is well-stocked and aligned with guest demand.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee cash reconciliation, financial reporting, and accurate recordkeeping in accordance with company procedures.
  • Operational Excellence: Open and close the shop following established policies, ensuring proper cash handling, store cleanliness, and adherence to safety and security measures.
  • Policy Enforcement: Ensure team members consistently follow security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail space by coordinating engineering requests and upholding display standards.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Promote strong team communication and a culture of respect, transparency, and motivation to meet performance goals.
  • Strategic Improvements: Continuously evaluate store processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to boost sales and guest satisfaction.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay up to date with golf retail trends, competitor offerings, and guest preferences to adapt and grow the business effectively.
