About The Position

The Golf Pro Shop Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests while handling retail sales, tee time check-ins, and general pro shop operations. This role supports the golf team by ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all golfers.

Requirements

Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred
Basic knowledge of golf is a plus, but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic math and computer skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors in varying weather conditions
Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings or evenings

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of golf is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide a friendly, welcoming environment
Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
Check in golfers for tee times and assist with reservations
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries about golf services, rates, and merchandise
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pro shop
Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management
Promote golf merchandise, apparel, and resort offerings
Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment responsibly
Work closely with Golf Pros and starters to ensure smooth daily operations
Follow all resort policies and procedures
