About The Position

The part-time staff is responsible for customer service and overseeing the daily operations of the Driving Range and mini-golf facility.

Requirements

  • Work well with public
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Staff must be willing to work flexible hours which are typically sunrise to sunset seven days a week.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to operate leaf blower and some light equipment
  • If over 18 ability to lift over 70lbs and work picking apparatus

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone
  • Certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) within 3 months of employment

Responsibilities

  • Driving Range Attendants are responsible for the day-to-day sales.
  • Is responsible for the cleanliness of the driving range and mini-golf
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure that there is a safe environment for the public and staff in the building
  • Attend and participate in staff and training meetings
  • Will ensure free access to restrooms for the public
  • Assist patrons with ball dispenser and mini-golf rules
  • Keep supervisor(s) informed of any problems or special occurrences
  • Will be operate picking cart when necessary(over age 18)
  • Will ensure ball dispenser is well full before departing from shift
  • Cash handling from day to day transactions
  • Bank drop at close of day
  • Obey the practical safety rules, regulations and procedures established by the safety program of the River Trails Park District
  • Follow all safety procedures for handling equipment
  • Responsible for carrying out all emergency procedures and keeping accurate records of all occurrences
  • Actively supports and enforces the safety program instituted by the Park District
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all general agency and department-specific safety rules
  • Attends required safety program and in-service education meetings as directed
  • Corrects unsafe conditions and/or reports them to your direct supervisor
  • Enforces safety disciplinary policies and procedures
  • Uses protective gloves, masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to pathogens
