About The Position
General Statement of Position: To be a general worker at and around the clubhouse, to help Starter when needed, and perform all requested tasks for clubhouse and kitchen staffs. Representative Essential Job Functions: Maintains a positive community image for the District. Strives to maintain a positive environment among the District’s organizational divisions. Actively supports the Safety Policy and the District’s established loss control program including training, safety rules, and developing ideas for the prevention of incidents, while providing a safe environment for Park District staff members and patrons. Maintains the practice range and adjacent areas. . Washes range balls and turns off spigot afterwards. Picks up empty range buckets. Ensures patrons remain between the ropes or designated hitting areas. Checks for all patrons’ safety at all times. Washes cars and checks for gas every day in the beverage, range picker, and player assistance cars and ensures all washers are turned off afterwards. Checks water in club cleaners. Picks up garbage and debris around clubhouse and parking lot. Cables and locks outside cars and lock basement at the end of the night. Reports all broken equipment. Representative Marginal Job Functions: Dusts, vacuums, empties garbage cans, and cleans golf shop. Moves umbrellas and chairs from patio at the end of the day. Performs other duties relating to the position as directed or delegated Attends meetings, training sessions and seminars as assigned Assists other Park District staff members as needed Trash pickup Snow removal Shop and building cleaning Painting Washing Walls and Floors Cleaning Carpets Janitorial Duties
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age with a valid drivers license.
- Must be dependable, have good safety habits, follow directions, and work well with fellow employees.
